Balthazar uses cotton canvas (sometimes linen) and fully covers it with Chinese ink - most of the time in black but different colors are possible and gradients as well. Then the drawing itself is done using water based markers. As well as for the Chinese ink, the colors used can be changed according to preferences. Once the painting is completed, it is covered with a surface protection. All the paintings will include two artist’s signatures, one at the back while the other one is hidden somewhere there to be found.
